PLATFORMA and the NSA-LA Programme

The thematic programme Non State Actors – Local Authorities is the programme of the European Commission dedicated to Local and Regional Authority actors in cooperation for development.     

Since 2007, this Commission has allocated around 30 million Euros every year to international cooperation actions of Local and Regional Authorities through a system of calls for proposals. 

Since the creation of PLATFORMA, we have engaged in regular and constructive dialogue with EUROPAID in order to adapt this programme to the realities of local and regional cooperation actions. This work has notably lead to the introduction of specific calls for propositions for Local authorities, different to those of civil society.
