The European Parliament approves a resolution regarding the post-2015 development framework
The European Parliament has approved a resolution on “the EU and the global development framework after 2015” in which members of parliament recall the importance of focusing on the eradication of poverty and the defence of Human Rights.
The Mediterranean towards a sustainable development
The territorial cooperation in the Mediterranean towards a sustainable development and resilient territories was at the heart of the Mediterranean Cooperation days, during which PLATFORMA co-organised two round tables on the future global development agendas (sustainable development goals and future climate agreement).

In his hearing as International Cooperation and Development Commissioner-designate, Mr Mimica encouraged the contribution of local and regional governments (LRGs) in European development programmes and highlighted their importance in the management of sustainable urbanisation.
